- 45 mlTequila
- 15 mlMezcalTequila's smoky cousin. Plain tequila works if you don't have it.
- 5 mlAgave syrupHoney mixed with a little warm water works instead.
- 2 dashesAngostura bitters
Plus ice.

No bar kit? A jar with a lid works as a shaker, and 1 tablespoon is 15 ml.
How to make an Oaxaca Old Fashioned
- Put everything in a glass with ice.
- Stir for 30 seconds.
- Squeeze an orange peel over the top.
Garnish: Orange peel
