- 50 mlTequila
- 20 mlLime juiceSqueeze it fresh. Bottled juice tastes flat. 1 lime gives about 25 ml.
- 10 mlAgave syrupHoney mixed with a little warm water works instead.
- 20 mlTriple secOrange liqueur. Cointreau is the premium version.
Plus ice.

No bar kit? A jar with a lid works as a shaker, and 1 tablespoon is 15 ml.
How to make a Cadillac Margarita
- Rim the glass with salt.
- Shake the tequila, lime juice and agave with ice and strain over fresh ice.
- Float the triple sec on top (a premium orange liqueur is traditional).
