- 30 mlKala khatta syrupSold as 'kala khatta' gola syrup in Indian grocery stores.
- 15 mlLime juiceSqueeze it fresh. Bottled juice tastes flat. 1 lime gives about 25 ml.
- 1 pinchBlack salt
- Top upSoda water
Plus ice.

How to make a Kala Khatta Soda
- Fill the glass with ice.
- Add the syrup, lime juice and black salt and stir.
- Top with soda.
