- 50 mlWhisky
- 150 mlSoda water

No bar kit? A jar with a lid works as a shaker, and 1 tablespoon is 15 ml.
How to make a Japanese Highball
- Fill a tall glass to the top with ice and stir to chill it. Pour off any water.
- Add the whisky and stir 13 times (the Japanese way).
- Pour the cold soda gently down the side and stir just once.
Garnish: Lemon twist
