Ingredients
- 60 mlWhisky
- 15 mlSugar syrupMake it: stir equal amounts of sugar and hot water until clear. Keeps 2 weeks in the fridge.
- 10 leavesMint
Plus ice.

- Lewis bag & mallet
No bar kit? A jar with a lid works as a shaker, and 1 tablespoon is 15 ml.
How to make a Mint Julep
- Press the mint gently with the syrup in the glass.
- Fill the glass with crushed ice and add the whisky.
- Stir until the glass frosts, then pile more crushed ice on top.
Garnish: Big mint bouquet
