- 45 mlGin
- 30 mlDry vermouth
- 5 mlMaraschino liqueurA clear cherry liqueur, like Luxardo. Not the red cherry syrup.
- 2 dashesAbsinthe (optional)Used as a 'rinse': swirl a few drops inside the glass, then pour it out.
- 1 dashAngostura bitters
Plus ice.

- Mixing glass

No bar kit? A jar with a lid works as a shaker, and 1 tablespoon is 15 ml.
How to make a Tuxedo
- Add everything to a mixing glass or jug full of ice.
- Stir with a bar spoon for 30 seconds.
- Strain into a chilled glass.
